MinWear 1276 Natural Rubber – The very best regarding Elasticity, Noise Attenuation and Back Splatter Protection

Two of the biggest dangers of indoor shooting are dust forming and backsplatter.
Back splatter curtains made from MinWear, a premium natural rubber designed for this application, are self-sealing when penetrated by a bullet. Only a pin-sized hole is left. Ricochet, back splatter and lead particulate are effectively contained downrange, even at close range. The range stays cleaner and your shooters stay safer.

Features and Benefits

  • Controls dangerous back splatter and ricochet – self sealing property keeps stray material away from the shooter.
  • Reduces airborne lead dust – used in conjunction with an effective ventilation system, MinWear curtains contain dust downrange in the backstop area.
  • Cost effective – lasts for thousands of rounds before patching might be required.
  • Reduces noise – damping reflected noise from the backstop.
  • Less clean up – does not disintegrate like canvas or wood boards. Less fouling of air filters, less sweeping around targets

Protect the Shooter with MinWear – the Safest, Most Economical Target Backing Available

Shooter’s safety is most important!  MinWear back splatter curtains fulfil the demands as long as ammunition is used which is specified by the shooting range responsible before selecting the thickness of MinWear. Positioned between the target and the backstop, MinWear curtains are designed to keep bullets, backsplatter and lead dust where it can be extracted by filtering the air. MinWear curtains will withstand thousands of rounds with a wide variety of calibre and power.
Also, MinWear curtains can easily be rotated or switched from one firing position to another to spread the load and extend their life.

By using endlessly glued curtains the lifetime of MinWear back splatter curtains can be extended considerably.

MinWear is demanded by many military, police, government and private indoor ranges.

Hollow-points passing through your MinWear curtain punch out tiny holes. Extend the life of your MinWear curtains by hanging a thinner, expendable MinWear curtain in front of the regular curtain. As it penetrates the thin front curtain, the hollow-point fills with rubber. It then passes through the regular curtain as if it were a jacketed bullet, leaving only a pin-sized hole.

White Target Backing

MinWear 1276 back splatter curtains are ideal for mobile and permanent ranges equipped with video or slide situation simulators.
